2014 in Review!

Dear Sisters, HOW are we at the end of 2014?! This has got to have been the quickest year of my life! Anyone else feel that way?

This year has been a quite a year for me: I've grown so much in my walk with God, my faith has been tested in ways I never thought it would, I've fallen in love with Jesus all the much more, I got engaged, I got married... 2014, you surely did not bore me!

Anyways, let's take a trip down memory lane and review the highlights of this blog:

January:
This month I really committed to Dear Sister and making this space my own. This is where I shifted focus, and began trying to free myself from people bondage! I think I did a pretty darn good job so far, too!

Talking about people bondage!

February :
You guys got to learn a little more about me and my personal life this month as I opened up about my relationship with Toby (for example, I explained why we didn't kiss during our courtship).

Not kissing for a year and a half wasn't the most fun part of this journey!

March:
March was fun here on Dear Sister. Although I was going through some tests, this month let me have fun with a blog quiz, my list of 101 things to do in 1001 days, and Pinterest inspirations!

April:
I started to vaguely share what was going on in my heart about some of the tests I was experiencing in my walk with Christ. Thank God Spring Break was that month, too! Just what I needed!

Chillin' in Savannah!

May:
Oh, I hated May simply because of Maymester. Never again. But, I also started Fruit Check Friday!  :)

June:
I believe ALL of my posts were spiritual this month! I seriously needed to be reminded that God was (and is) enough

July:
July was fun! Between the Pinky Promise Conference,  Toby's birthday, the Fourth of July,  and classes, I had no time to be bored!  Plus, I shared Toby and I's relationship testimony, and I was overwhelmed with the response!

I had so much fun serving at the PPC with these ladies!

August:
August rushed right on by! This month always have a soft spot in my heart as it's the month of Toby and Iā€™s anniversary! I also put up Part Two of our relationship testimony.

My 1st time at The Melting Pot!

September:
One of my favorite months!  For one, it's my birth month,  and two my amazing man got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!!! STILL in shock,  and I'm married! Lol.

October:
Wedding planning, stress, wedding planning.

November:
I pretty much went MIA on y'all (sorry!) due to stressing about school, the wedding,  work. BUT Dear Sister turned a whole one year old and got a makeover as a gift!

December:
Hands down the best month of 2014: I graduated from college (thank you Jesus!) and married my fine hubby (THANK YOU JESUS!)!!!

My parents and I!

Best day ever!

This year has been full of highs and lows, tests and triumphs, blessings and tears. I have grown so much in my faith and walk with Christ. I have trusted Him in a way I have never encountered before. I am thankful for 2014,  but I am glad to see it go as I stand with open arms for 2015!

Let's do this!
