Changes

Happy Humpday, folks!

So last week, I posted a quick survey so I could get to know ya'll a little bit more (you can totally still fill the form out if you haven't already), and I got great feedback. Ya'll are the best. Seriously! I'm feeling super grateful right now and I just want to thank all of you lovely people who comment, like, share, and message me. It makes me feel like I'm not talking to a brick cyber-wall, but such a great community of friends. So cheers to you and thank you!

If you've been lurking around this little place for a while (i.e. you've been here since the days of Dear Sister), you know I like to switch things up from time to time. I'm trying to get more consistent with posting on here, and I never want to stray away from the true heart of my neck of the woods in cyberspacedom, which is to bring glory to God in all areas, in all things, of our lives (see the About page here). Just like praying, reading the Bible, cooking, cleaning, working, entertaining, DIYing are all things I do throughout the day that has potential to bring God glory (if my heart is in the right place), I want the same to go for this blog.

So things are gonna get a little different around here, in a good way. Here is the weekly schedule of the blog so it doesn't seem like I am all over the place and so you can know what to expect:

• Mondays: Faith and personal. These days you can find posts on my findings in the Bible, my spiritual walk reflections, and my life including my family and friends.

• Wednesdays: Relationships. Although most will relate to tips and reflections based on dating, courtship, and marriage, there will also be things on relationships with friends and family too.

• Fridays: All things home. Here is where I will share my inspiration and tips on recipes (like the seared shrimp, grits, and salsa one here), decor, DIY projects, etc. I can tell that this is going to be fun!

Let me just tell ya, this sometimes Type A lady is happy to have a blog schedule down AND to be able to chat with ya'll on some of my favorite topics! Let the fun begin!
