Date Night!
Happy, happy Saturday, ladies! I hope ya'll got some fun plans today! Currently, I'm babysitting for a family friend but I wanted to stop by and say hi!
Okay, annnnd tell you about my date with my love yesterday:
Last night, Toby and I went to this cute hidden restaurant called Segreto Cucina Italiano, which literally means Secret Italian Kitchen. I found it via Scoutmob, which is a cool app that finds specials that you can use at restaurants.
The place was small and dark; truly romantic! We came on the perfect night in which there was a live singer singing songs like "My Girl" and "Mustang Sally".
I really loved how you can basically build your own entrees. You choose the pasta, then the sauce, then the meat (or veggies, if you're vegetarian). I can't remember the pasta I chose, but I got the carbonara sauce with onions and pancetta, and chose chicken as the meat. Oh, my heavenly! So good (I am actually eating the leftovers now)! Toby chose some pasta with cheese stuffed shells, quattro formaggio, and chicken. I tried some of his, and I will definitely order what he got the next time we go!
We really enjoyed our time, and the food was excellent! It wasn't expensive and with the 50% discount, we were two satisfied diners. Plus, I get to add that to things done on my list of 101 things to do in 1,001 days!
I just love date nights! So, I've decided to have date night with my Jesus today! I encourage ya'll to do the same!
