I'm Still Alive!

I know most of y'all are like: Tiffany, where in the heck have you been?! I know,  I know, I dropped off the face of this bloggy earth yet again. But I promise it wasn’t on purpose!

Nothing much has happened in the last 13 days, except *clears throat* I got a job! *takes moment to do the cabbage patch dance* It's not a "big girl" job, but hey, I am employed. Right on time for me to have gas money to travel back and forth to school starting Monday, haha. Thank God this is my last semester! :-)

Oh, and I know today is supposed to be Fruit Check Friday,  and an uplifting and convicting post should've already been up this morning,  but honestly Fruit Check Friday may have to take a little leave of absence. I try to let God lead me as I write those posts, and I haven't been led to post anything for Fridays in a while. I never want to get to a point to where I just throw something up here just to "minister" to someone. So will Fruit Check Friday ever come back? Yes! I just don't know when, and it will appear a little more sporadically.

In between those times, I really want to share tidbits of a book I found in my mother's stash. The book is called Praying the Names of Jesus by Ann Spangler. I haven't read it yet,  but it's a six month devotional studying and praying the many names of Jesus. Yes, six months! That's some commitment right there! I want to pray on it, but if God gives me the green light, it will most likely begin Monday, August 25th.

Speaking of books, I have just finished reading A Woman After God's Own Heart by Elizabeth George, and oh my heavenly that book is a tiny little treasure! She applies being a woman after God's heart in areas such as: your relationship with God, being all you can be for your husband and children, taking care your home and yourself, and preparing for and cultivating your ministry. It's definitely a book that I will reread throughout the years.

And one last thing: the feedback I got on Our Story is so overwhelming and encouraging! I am just blown away at God! Thank you for your sweet comments,  messages, emails, and Instagram posts! For those who didn't leave any of those, you still can through the rest of this month! I love you ladies so much and God loves you even more!

Love you, sis!
